MECHANICAL ROYALTIES DEPARTMENT – THE GRANTING OF LICENSES
The licenses granting department for mechanical rights is responsible for: 

The granting of mechanical and reproduction licenses for sound or sound and image carriers, in accordance with the terms and conditions in effect internationally and corresponding to the conditions of the Greek market.

The control and the securing of intellectual property arising from recording and reproduction from this use (Mechanical rights), with a view to correctly implement the contracts among users and recording factories and are:

Α) The standardised BIEM – IFPI contract for the phonograph industry.

Β) The standardised BIEM contract for material means producers.
